Gregory J. Cizek is a professor of educational measurement and evaluation in the School of Education, where he teaches courses in applied psychometrics, statistics and research methods. Prior to joining the faculty, he managed national licensure and certification testing programs for American College Testing (ACT) in Iowa City, Iowa and served as a test development specialist for the Michigan Educational Assessment Program. Previously, he taught elementary school for five years in Michigan and served as professor of educational research and measurement at the University of Toledo. From 1997-99, he was elected to and served as vice-president of a local board of education in Ohio. In 2005, he was elected secretary of the American Educational Research Association, Division D: Measurement and Research Methodology. He currently co-chairs the Joint Committee on Testing Practices. His other service activities include membership on journal advisory boards and consultation to state and national organizations on testing programs and policy. |
